I have already shared the legacy old <a href="http://zenkhas.blogspot.com/2013/09/microsoft-macro-assembler-80-masm.html" target="_blank">MASM 6.11 (DOS) 16-bit version</a>, but unfortunately it works only on Windows XP and previous operating systems. By default there is no direct way to run a DOS-based application on Windows 7 or Windows 8, however there is always a way to emulate the incompatible applications.</div>

To run DOS-based application we can use DOSBox. It's a free DOS emulator that can run old DOS applications, below is a step-by-step guide to use DOSBox and assemble, link and execute assembly programs.</div>

Go to your desired drive (<b>C:\</b> drive is recommended), and paste the folder there.<br />

Go back to the Desktop and double-click on the <b>DOSBox</b>.<br />

Now before using <b>MASM</b> you need to mount the working directory.<br />
type the command below to mount the drive:<br />

Change the drive letter to your desired drive where you have <b>MASM</b> installed. to change the drive from <b>Z</b> to <b>C</b>, type the command shown below:<br />

Type your program source code, and save it by going to <b>File -> Save</b> or press <b>Alt + F</b> to open the File menu.<br />

Exit from the DOS Editor to go back to the Command Prompt.<br />

Macromedia FreeHand 10 is a computer application for creating two-dimensional vector graphics that are oriented primarily to professional illustration, desktop publishing and content creation for the Web. FreeHand is similar in scope, intended market, and functionality to Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw and Xara Designer Pro . Because of FreeHand’s dedicated page layout and text control features, it also compares to Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress. Professions using FreeHand include Graphic Design, Illustration, Cartography, Fashion and Textile Design, Product Design, Architects, Science Research, and Multimedia Production.<br />
<br />
FreeHand was created by Altsys Corporation in 1988 and licensed to Aldus Corporation which released versions 1 through 4. In 1994, Aldus merged with Adobe Systems and because of the overlapping market with Adobe Illustrator, FreeHand was returned to Altsys by order of the Federal Trade Commission. Altsys was later bought by Macromedia, which released FreeHand versions 5 through 11(FreeHand MX). In 2005, Adobe Systems acquired Macromedia and its product line which included FreeHand MX, under whose ownership it presently resides.</div>
